You will show properties, communicate amenities, maintain occupancy goals, enforce policies, and coordinate maintenance while ensuring compliance with housing laws.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in property management.
• Real estate license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices.
• Up-to-date on the local real estate market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
• Experience with property management software such as Rent Manager.

Responsibilities

• Advertise vacant properties, and follow up on leads from Zillow, Apartments.com, Facebook and others
• Show properties to prospective tenants and inform them of all available amenities
• Qualify prospective tenants using background checks and references
• Accept rental payments and provide receipts
• Maintain deep knowledge of the local market and housing trends
• Negotiate leasing terms and close deals
• Inspect properties on a regular basis and schedule necessary maintenance/repairs
• Provide administrative support and other duties as assigned
