Job summary

Drucker & Falk, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant for the Chesapeake, VA area to lease apartments and support office operations. You will handle prospective resident calls, show units, collect applications, and maintain accurate resident files with a focus on excellent customer service.

The role includes setting competitive rents, coordinating move-ins, participating in community events, and occasional travel or weekend hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments at the highest effective rent level possible, while maintaining a strong customer service/satisfaction philosophy.
• Maintain a courteous and helpful attitude at all times.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and courteously and help resolve resident issues.
• Explain company policies to residents and potential residents.
• Complete the documents in a timely manner and maintain accurate resident files.
• Enter resident data in accordance with company policy.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a resident retention/renewal program.
• Show the model and available ready vacancies.
• Greet new residents and assist with the move-in process.
• Travel may be required; occasional weekend hours may be required.
