Goldmark Property Mangement Inc. is seeking a Leasing Specialist for Columbia West to engage with prospects, tour properties, and guide applicants through the leasing process. You will maintain strong customer service and coordinate with maintenance and leadership to ensure high occupancy and resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes property marketing, timely communication, and adherence to Fair Housing guidelines, with growth opportunities and team collaboration within the Goldmark portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle and insurance required.
• Prior property management experience preferred but not required.
• NALP or similar certifications desirable.
• Strong sales and customer service mindset.
• Self-driven with time management and multitasking.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite preferred.

• Tour and present the property and available apartment homes to prospective residents and close the sale.
• Manage leasing and renewal process from start to finish per procedures and Fair Housing.
• Conduct property/building/apartment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Daily use of customer management systems to document communications with residents.
• Collaborate with leadership and support teams as needed.
• Advertise and market properties daily via social media and other platforms.
• Build long-term relationships with residents and address questions and concerns.

Leasing Specialists are a key part of the property management team and work closely with their fellow team members to achieve and maintain maximum occupancy of their properties and strong resident satisfaction results.

Starting pay$15.00 per hour(and more based on experience)+ unlimited commissions!

• Potential toearnup to $4.65 moreperhourwith commissions and incentives.

Job Duties:

• Tour and present the property and available apartment homes with prospectiveresidents and apply product knowledge to close the sale.
• Manage the leasing and renewal process from start to finish in accordance with company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Conduct property, building, and apartment inspections to help ensure the attractive appearance, including picking up trash and reporting maintenance needs.
• Daily use of customer management systems to build relationships with prospective and current residents ensuring all communication is documented.
• Work side by side along with leadership and support teams as appropriate.

• Advertise and market properties daily by use of social media and other marketing platforms.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with residents by addressing and responding to requests, questions, and concerns, making referrals to manager or maintenance team members as appropriate.

Experience and Education:

• A High School degree, GED or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle and vehicle insurance.
• Prior experience in property management or a related industry is preferred, but not required.
• National Apartment Leasing Profession (NALP) or similar certifications are desirable.
• Strong sales skills and aptitude with confidence and drive to close the sale.
• Customer service experience and a strong customer service mind-set.
• Self-driven with an ability to manage time, multi-task, and prioritizes responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Word, Outlook and Excel is preferred.
