Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Leasing Operations Manager to support leasing and occupancy of residential properties. You will manage day-to-day leasing activities, coordinate tours, process applications, and help drive occupancy goals while maintaining records and reports.

The role requires strong organizational and customer-focused skills to handle multiple priorities with sound judgment. The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience in leasing or related fields, knowledge of DC rental

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • 1+ year of experience in leasing, property management, real estate, sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Washington, DC residential rental markets and leasing requirements is a plus.
  • Experience with affordable housing or multifamily residential properties is a plus.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day leasing activities and follow up with prospective tenants through phone, email, online platforms, and in-person interactions.
  • Schedule and conduct property tours and provide information about available units, amenities, pricing, and community features.
  • Follow up with prospects throughout the leasing process to encourage applications and successful lease conversions.
  • Explain rental terms, application requirements, lease agreements, and community policies to prospective residents.
  • Process rental applications and coordinate required documentation and screening in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Prepare and coordinate lease documentation and move-in requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, applications, leases, and prospect activity.
  • Monitor available units and leasing activity to support occupancy goals.
  • Track leasing performance and provide regular updates and reports to management.
  • Review leasing activity and identify opportunities to improve occupancy and leasing results.
  • Make recommendations regarding leasing strategies, marketing efforts, and follow-up activities.
  • Coordinate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure units are ready for showings and move-ins.
  • Assist with move-in scheduling and provide new residents with necessary information and documentation.
  • Assist with marketing and outreach activities to generate qualified leasing leads.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date marketing information for available units.
  • Address routine applicant and resident questions and elevate more complex matters to management as appropriate.
  • Maintain professional relationships with current and prospective residents and provide excellent customer service.

Job Summary

The Leasing Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the leasing and occupancy of residential properties by managing day-to-day leasing activities, following up with prospective tenants, coordinating property tours, processing applications, and facilitating the leasing process. This position also supports occupancy goals by monitoring leasing activity, maintaining accurate records and reports, and making recommendations to improve leasing performance.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities while exercising good judgment in handling leasing and property-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

Leasing & Sales:

  • Manage day-to-day leasing activities and follow up with prospective tenants through phone, email, online platforms, and in-person interactions.

  • Assist with preparing leasing, occupancy, and property-related reports.
  • Perform other leasing and property-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business , Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • 1+ year of experience in leasing, property management, real estate, sales, customer service, or a related field.

  • Base Salary: $60,000 per year
