Greystar in Mount Prospect, IL is seeking a Marketing/Leasing professional to manage community advertising, leasing activities, and revenue goals. You will drive occupancy through pricing, incentives, and targeted promotions while coordinating with on-site staff and maintenance to present a market-ready community.

The role focuses on directing marketing strategy, overseeing leasing operations, and delivering strong resident engagement.

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
• Incumbents must have valid driver’s license to drive a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Directs the community’s marketing, advertising and sales activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals, oversees on-site traffic, ensures an adequate inventory of ready apartments, sets rent pricing and concessions, and monitors day-to-day sales and leasing activities.
• Keeps informed about current market and competitor conditions, develops short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy, and implements pricing, concessions, leasing incentives, and advertising to boost traffic and leases.
• Develops print and internet advertising strategies, uses technology to promote the community and communicate with prospects, and uses the property management software to generate sales and leasing reports.
• Works with the maintenance team to ensure the community meets standards for appearance and safety, inspects ready units, and uses merchandising to promote the apartments and community.
• Participates in leasing by generating traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documents, and completing move-in procedures according to policy.
• Reviews financial, shop, traffic and closing reports to identify issues, and presents marketing and leasing results to clients, owners and managers.
• Oversees the lease renewal program, manages communications with residents, and assists with move-outs as needed.
• Responds to resident and client/owner questions promptly and documents requests for appropriate action.
• Supervises leasing team by interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating performance in line with company policies.
