Job Title: Leasing Agent

The Leasing Agent will market properties utilizing social media and websites, set up showings and open houses. Responsibilities:

1. Meet potential renters and guide them on tours of available units.
2. Follow up on leads for potential renters and log all traffic daily.
3. Discuss leasing advantages with prospective residents.
4. Perform background and credit checks to qualify renters.
5. Prepare leasing documents in accordance with property standards and regulations.
6. Collect security deposits and application fees.
7. Inform residents of changes to rental agreements or property issues.
8. Build rapport with current tenants to provide personalized service.
9. Monitor community facilities such as mailrooms, fitness centers, and laundry rooms.
10. Conduct tours of the apartment communities for prospective residents.
11. Maintain detailed records of traffic and guest interactions.
12. Conduct outreach marketing as needed.
13. Schedule resident move-ins.
14. Maintain organization of keys and parking assignments.
15. Handle resident questions, maintenance requests, rent payments, and other inquiries daily.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Previous leasing or sales experience with strong closing skills; willing to train outgoing, dependable, team-oriented individuals eager to learn.
• Excellent social, motivational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Compassionate, outgoing personality with a sense of humor.
• Punctual, dependable, and highly motivated.
• Proficient in computer literacy.
• Ability to conduct property tours, travel between sites, lift up to 30 pounds, and work long hours if needed.

Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
