Job summary

General Services Corporation is seeking a Leasing Agent to show apartments to prospects with the goal of securing leases, maintaining occupancy, and ensuring resident satisfaction. You will complete leasing paperwork and support the leasing office operations.

You will greet customers, convert walk-ins and calls into appointments, screen applicants, prepare leases, and assist with move-in orientations while upholding the company’s commitment to trust and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Outstanding sales ability in a computerized environment.
• Preferred: One year of leasing experience.

Responsibilities

• Leasing apartments at optimum rent levels and keeping vacancies to a minimum
• Greet customers by standing and smiling.
• Convert walk‑in prospects into secured leases.
• Convert telephone calls and emails to appointments
• Maintain a waiting list and follow up on waiting list applicants.
• Screen applicants to include requesting and reviewing credit reports, employment references, and rental references.
• Prepare leases
• Conduct Move‑in orientations
