MAA is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Charleston to drive leasing operations and enhance resident experience. You will engage with prospective residents, explain community value, and process lease agreements on-site at a busy multifamily property.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, sales acumen, and collaboration with marketing and management to promote events and retention efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or leasing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; high school diploma or GED acceptable.
• Familiarity with apartment management laws is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Interact with prospective residents and communicate the value of living at a MAA community.
• Secure lease agreements and screen prospective residents.
• Advise on lease expirations and facilitate lease renewals.
• Assist with property marketing activities and resident events.
