Atlas at Foresthaven in Baton Rouge is seeking a customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our apartment community team. You will greet prospective residents, conduct engaging tours, respond to inquiries by phone, email, and walk-ins, and help applicants navigate the leasing process.

The role emphasizes knowledge of current availability, pricing, and lease terms, plus building relationships to support retention.

Competenze

• Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with leasing software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, or similar).
• Proven success in customer-focused roles.
• Understanding of leasing laws and regulations.
• Strong marketing and sales skills.
• Excellent time and project management abilities.
• Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.

Mansioni

• Greet prospective residents and provide engaging tours of the property.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
• Assist with leasing apartments and completing all necessary documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current availability, pricing, and lease terms.
• Build strong relationships with residents to support retention and satisfaction.
• Support marketing efforts and participate in resident events.
• Ensure the leasing office and model units are clean and welcoming.
• Use property management software to manage leads, applications, and communications.
• Inspect available “market ready” units and communicate service needs to management.
• Describe lease terms including length, rates, and conditions/exclusions.
• Provide post-lease services such as drafting termination notices or initiating legal action for unpaid rent.
• Verify application information and references.
• Prepare lease agreements in accordance with state laws, company policies, and client specifications.
• Process background checks, proof of income, rental history, and reference letters.
• Update and maintain records in the property management system.
• Ensure prompt resolution of tenant maintenance complaints.
