Job summary

Gross Residential in Ohio is seeking a qualified Leasing Professional to present apartments and community amenities, and to manage leasing paperwork.

Candidates with prior leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience are preferred; training will be provided for the right person. Strong computer skills and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing, sales, hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Must be organized and comfortable with computer-based processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office software helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lease vacant apartments to prospective residents by communicating the value of residency.
• Provide information to prospective residents about community amenities.
• Responds to phone and email inquiries from prospective residents.
• Compile leasing paperwork accurately.
• Process applications.
• Explain lease and addenda to new residents.
• Assist with resident relations.
• Facilitate service requests and forward to maintenance staff.
• Adhere to a varied work schedule, including weekends and some holidays.

Job description

We are searching for a qualified Leasing Professional who has a positive attitude and professional presentation skills to present apartments and community amenities. Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience is desired but will train the right candidate. Additionally, candidates must be organized and possess strong computer skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lease vacant apartments to prospective residents by communicating the value of residency
• Provide information to prospective residents about community amenities
• Responds to phone and email inquiries from prospective residents
• Compile leasing paperwork accurately
• Process applications
• Explains lease and all appropriate addenda to new residents
• Assist with resident relations
• Facilitate service request and forward to maintenance staff
• Adheres to a varied work schedule, including weekends and some holidays, as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Customer service skills and conflict resolution skills to overcome objections and resolve issues
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills to maintain records and schedules
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
