Carleton Living is seeking a friendly, high-energy Leasing Consultant for The Citizen in Dallas. You’ll connect with prospects, conduct property tours, and guide applicants through leasing and move-in processes to create strong first impressions.

You bring 1+ year of multifamily property management experience, familiarity with tax-credit properties, and working knowledge of RealPage/Onisite. Join a supportive, team‑oriented culture that values service, growth, and community impact.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in multifamily property management.
• Experience with tax-credit (affordable housing) properties is required.
• Working knowledge of RealPage/Onisite software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle leasing activities: contact prospective residents, schedule and conduct property tours, lease available apartments.
• Collect rent deposits, payments, and other fees; ensure accurate booking.
• Ensure model units and vacancies are clean, ready for tours.
• Maintain a clean, organized office and assist with curb appeal efforts.
• Explain lease terms, policies, and qualification criteria to prospects.
• Use sales strategies to convert prospects into residents over the phone and in person.
• Build relationships with locator services and local businesses for marketing outreach.
• Monitor competitive properties and local market conditions.
• Screen applications and follow leasing processes per policy.
• Participate in outreach marketing to generate leads.
• Engage with current residents and assist in lease renewals.
