ZRS Management is seeking a Leasing Specialist in Prosper, TX to attract, screen, and lease rental properties while maintaining high occupancy and exceptional resident service. You will market listings, conduct tours, and collaborate with the property manager to achieve leasing goals.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• 1+ year of sales or leasing experience strongly preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Attract and screen potential tenants, provide information about available properties, negotiate lease terms, and ensure a smooth leasing process.
• Lease properties to prospective tenants, maintain high occupancy rates, and nurture positive relationships with current residents.
• Market and promote available properties, conduct property tours, screen applicants, negotiate lease agreements, and deliver excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with the property manager and team members to achieve leasing goals and uphold property standards.
• Stay informed about local rental market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations.
• Participate in property marketing events, outreach programs, and promotional activities to maximize visibility.
• Manage all aspects of the leasing process—including leasing apartments to qualified prospects, preparing lease paperwork, and assisting future residents with a smooth move‑in.
• Respond to in‑person, phone, and email inquiries; provide leasing information; make appointments.
• Assist with completing weekly, monthly, and special reports.
• Determine resident needs and respond promptly to resident concerns.
• Explain lease and community policies to new and current residents.
• Plan, organize, and conduct resident functions as directed by the Property Manager.
• Uphold ethical standards, fair housing regulations, and company policies in all leasing activities.
• Work at least one to two weekends per month.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• 1+ year of sales or leasing experience strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office products.
• Knowledge of Internet, e‑mail, and social media marketing.
• Experience with property management software (e.g., Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, Resman).
• Understanding of business practices and principles.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Capacity to manage stress calmly.
