Job summary

The Finger Companies in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a motivated full-time Leasing Consultant to connect people with their perfect homes. You will conduct property tours, respond to inquiries, and build relationships with residents.

You will process lease applications, perform credit and background checks, coordinate move-ins/outs, and support renewals. The role requires weekend availability and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of property management or leasing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (OneSite and RealPage).

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting features and amenities.
• Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective residents.
• Process lease applications, conduct credit and background checks, and prepare lease agreements.
• Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including unit inspections and key exchanges.
• Assist with resident retention efforts, including lease renewals and community events.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activity and resident interactions.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor pricing, and industry best practices.
