Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years in leasing, sales, hospitality or customer service.
  • Strong sales, persuasion and closing skills.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and professional customer service.
  • Excellent communication, organization and problem solving.
  • Ability to manage prospects, follow-ups, appointments and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • RealPage OneSite experience preferred.
  • Ability to walk property, conduct tours and inspect apartments.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inquiries by phone, email and in person.
  • Build rapport with prospects and identify apartment needs.
  • Schedule and conduct property and apartment tours.
  • Describe features, amenities and value of the property.
  • Use sales and follow-up techniques to meet leasing goals.
  • Process applications, screening documents, leases, deposits and move-in paperwork.
  • Maintain guest cards and applicant/resident files.
  • Walk units prior to move-in to ensure readiness.
  • Proactively contact residents about lease renewals.
  • Develop relationships with apartment locators and referral sources.
  • Complete market surveys and support marketing/outreach.
  • Receive and follow up on maintenance requests.

Lynd Management Group is seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Consultant to guide prospective residents through the leasing journey - from their first inquiry and property tour to application approval and move-in.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor the property's appearance and report safety or maintenance concerns.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One to three years of leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience.
  • Strong sales, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional customer service.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage prospects, follow-up activities, appointments, and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • RealPage OneSite experience preferred.
  • Ability to use company technology, screening tools, and property management systems.
  • Ability to walk the property, conduct tours, and visually inspect apartments.
