Job summary

Lynd Management Group, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support leasing, resident relations, collections, and every day property operations. The role focuses on delivering excellent service, maintaining files, and helping the property team reach performance goals.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and organizational skills, familiarity with Fair Housing, and proficiency with MS Office and property management software.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two to three years of property management, leasing, hospitality, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Customer service, sales, or leasing experience required.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing and multifamily operations.
  • Knowledge of rent collection, bookkeeping, and property management procedures.
  • Strong sales, communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Ability to travel locally for deposits, meetings, errands, or other business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Property Manager with daily property operations.
  • Oversee office operations in the Property Manager's absence.
  • Support leasing, renewals, occupancy, resident retention, and customer service.
  • Respond to inquiries, conduct tours, and help convert prospects into residents.
  • Process applications, leases, renewals, deposits, and move-in documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and organized resident and property files.
  • Collect rent, post payments, and contact residents regarding delinquent balances.
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and maintain accountability for property funds.
  • Assist with resident questions, maintenance follow-ups, and complaint resolution.
  • Prepare traffic, vacancy, move-out, market survey, and activity reports.
  • Process purchase orders and invoices for Accounting.
  • Assist with property marketing, resident events, inspections, and other operational needs.

What You'll Do
