Job summary

CAPREIT is seeking a Leasing Consultant for the Impressions community in Newport News, VA. You will greet prospective residents, showcase the community, and collect applications while coordinating with the Community Manager on timely processing and follow-ups.

Responsibilities include marketing activities, securing applications, and communicating features and benefits to prospects. Requires 1–3 years in apartment leasing; valid driver's license and familiarity with RealPage/OneSite/Yardi

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in apartment leasing
• Affordable Housing Requirements - BOND is preferred
• A valid driver’s license to operate company vehicle/golf cart
• Experience with specialized property management software (RealPage, OneSite, and/or Yardi), or the ability to learn such software
• Working knowledge of current technologies and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to prospective residents by marketing and showing the community and collecting applications
• Assist the Community Manager by processing applications, handling calls, and completing administrative tasks

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to prospective residentsby planning and participating in marketing activities to attract prospective residents; greeting applicants, showcasing the community, and collecting applications; communicating the features and benefits of the community with potential residents.

Assist the Community Managerby processing applications in a timely manner, taking resident phone calls, following up with prospective residents, and completing additional, on-going administrative functions of the community
