Job summary

ZRS Management LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to attract qualified tenants, present properties, and guide applicants through lease terms. You will support the leasing process and help achieve high occupancy while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales or leasing experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close leases with prospects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask across competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Attract and screen potential tenants and market available properties.
• Conduct property tours and present lease terms clearly to applicants.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email and in person; schedule appointments.

Job Description:A leasing consultant primary role is to attract and screen potential tenants, provide information about available properties, negotiate lease terms, and ensure a smooth leasing process.As a leasing consultant you will be responsible for leasing properties to prospective tenants, ensuring high occupancy rates, and maintaining positive relationships with current residents. Your role involves marketing and promoting available properties, conducting property tours, screening applicants, negotiating lease agreements, and providing excellent customer service. You will work closely with the property manager and other team members to achieve leasing goals and maintain property standards.The Leasing Consultant primary focus shall include but not limited to:Stay informed about local rental market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulationsParticipate in property marketing events, outreach programs, and promotional activities to maximize property visibilityManage all aspects of the leasing process, including leasing apartments to qualified prospects, preparing lease paperwork and assisting future residents to ensure a smooth move-inRespond to in-person, phone and email inquiries, provide leasing information, make appointmentsAssist with completing weekly, monthly and special reportsDetermine resident needs and respond promptly to any resident needs/concernsEffectively and accurately explain all lease and community policies to new and current residentsPlan, organize and conduct resident functions as needed and as directed by Property ManagerUphold ethical standards, fair housing regulations, and company policies in all leasing activitiesWork at least one to two weekends in a monthQualificationsValid Drivers License1+ year of sales or leasing experience strongly preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredSkills, Knowledge and Abilities:Demonstrate strong negotiating and sales abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other Microsoft Office productsKnowledge of Internet, Email, and social media as it pertains to marketing of communityKnowledge of property management software, such as, Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, Resman, etc.Knowledge of business practices and principlesAbility to handle multiple projects and tasksAbility to cope with stress in a composed mannerAbility to respect and maintain confidentialityAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.We offer full-time, career-track positions with competitive pay, health, dental, vision and life insurance; housing discounts, vacation, paid holidays, exceptional 401k plan with employer match and much more!!!!We are an Equal Opportunity EmployerDrug Free Work PlaceZRS Management is an equal opportunity employer.
