Role Overview

We’re looking for a Leasing Consultant to join our team in Independence, MO. This full-time, on-site role is perfect for someone who loves helping people find their perfect home. You’ll play a key role in the leasing process—from the first point of contact to the signed lease—while delivering top-notch customer service and maintaining positive resident relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide prospective residents through the entire leasing process, including phone and email communication, property tours, and lease signings
• Manage day to day reports, get units ready and schedule vendors on as needed basis
• Provide excellent customer service and support to both prospective and current residents
• Promote available units through various platforms and follow up via phone, text, email, and social media
• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies
• Collaborate with the property management team to maintain high occupancy rates and resident satisfaction
• Maintain and supervise maintenance tech and ensure service requests are completed in a timely fashion
• Work with your maintenance team to make sure WOs are completed in timely fashion

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations (preferred)
• Experience with property management software (a plus)
