About the role:

Darwin Homes is growing fast and we're looking for a highly motivated, intelligent, and passionate Leasing Agent to join our team. Growth means the challenges we’ll work on together will change as we lead Darwin through new and different phases.

What you'll do:

1. Represent Darwin Homes, becoming the first point of contact with prospective residents.
2. Answer questions, qualify, and sell the property’s features to prospective residents.
3. Manage the leasing and application process with our new residents.
4. Understand the prospect’s needs and create an urgency to apply.
5. Diffuse/resolve difficult situations while nurturing relationships.
6. Track communications with prospects & update necessary paperwork and computer systems when necessary.
7. Be an expert on your assigned market and represent it virtually.
8. Other duties as assigned.
9. May require some weekend and/or evening work to achieve sales goals.

Basic Qualifications:

1. A Real Estate License in the State of Alabama.
2. At least 2 years of previous property management experience in either the single family or multi-family rental industry.
3. Proven record of success in a fast-paced and high-pressure sales environment.
4. Strong organizational skills.
5. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing, growth environment.
6. Ability to communicate effectively in person and via technology with co-workers and team members.
7. Ability to multitask and maintain flexibility and creativity in various situations.
8. Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
