Position Title

Leasing Consultant

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Property leasing and administration, including showing, leasing, and moving in prospective residents.
• Attend the property daily and provide excellent resident service.
• Complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in.
• Assist with lease audits, walk‑throughs, and turnover processes.
• Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to leads within 24 hours.
• Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic and achieve leasing goals.
• Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
• Handle resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs.
• Contribute to general upkeep of office, common areas, and model units.
• Assist in implementing the annual marketing plan outreach and market survey/analysis.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; produce weekly market survey reports.
• Deliver excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround.
• Project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition.
• Enforce policies of the community as delegated by the supervisor.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform on‑site software functions.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Regular movement and communication tasks, including repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Frequent use of ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and other equipment; standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Occasional tasks that involve moving objects up to 25 lbs., operating machinery or vehicles, and working in various environmental conditions including outdoors, confined spaces, and extreme temperatures.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and night hours for emergencies.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $23 per hour to $25 per hour.
