Job Details

Job Title: Leasing Consultant

Reports To: Community Manager

Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Key Responsibilities

• Abide by Fair Housing Laws.
• Provide apartment tours to prospective residents.
• Run credit reports and prepare lease packets.
• Inspect apartments and maintain traffic logs.
• Lease units and provide information over the phone.
• Maintain a positive public relations attitude towards residents.

Additional Functions

• Assist with rent collection, bank deposits, and resident retention activities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in leasing and knowledge of Landlord-Tenant and Fair Housing laws preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License if operating a vehicle.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical activities such as walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
