Fortis Property Management in Georgia is seeking a Leasing Consultant to lease apartments and maximize rent while delivering outstanding resident service. You will show properties, quote prices, follow up with prospects, and maintain strong knowledge of the local market and competing properties.

The role offers full-time hours, a competitive commission/bonus structure, and opportunities for professional growth within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Prior leasing/sales experience preferred.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, AppFolio).
• Strong computer skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Show apartments
• Provide information to prospects via telephone and personal visits
• Accurately quote prices
• Follow up on all prospects
• Thorough knowledge of the immediate market and all comparable properties
• Thorough knowledge of the surrounding community
• Ensure all necessary application paperwork is obtained from prospects
• Provide superior customer service
• Collect money (deposits, rents, etc.)
• Prepare and review leases for accuracy
• Maintain effective and aggressive lease renewal program
• Inspect apartments for readiness
• Adherence to and proper implementation of all Fortis Properties Management policies and procedures
• Distribute move-in packages
• Other duties as delegated

Position Overview:

The focus of the Leasing Consultant is to lease apartments while achieving the highest effective rent levels possible and maintaining a strong customer service/satisfaction philosophy. You assist in your community's goal to effectively and efficiently lease the property, while also promoting excellence in resident customer and service.

Experience:

• Prior leasing/sales experience is preferred
• Proficiency in social media preferred
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, AppFolio)
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Supervision Received:
