About The Leasing Consultant Position At The Anderson

We’re looking for a leasing consultant responsible for apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. The role involves interacting with prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy and satisfaction.

• Excellent customer service skills, empathy, and respect.
• Generate traffic, qualify prospects, lease apartments, prepare documentation, and handle move-in paperwork.
• Ensure model apartments are ready for tours.
• Orient residents, process renewals, and maintain accurate records.
• Follow up with prospects, convert calls into tours, and coordinate move-ins/outs.
• Maintain resident files, complete leasing reports, and ensure daily procedures are followed.
• Assist with resident relations, inspect property safety and cleanliness, and support maintenance requests.
• Perform clerical support and assist with resident activities to increase retention.
• Comply with policies, safety rules, and laws.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma required.
• Preferred: 1+ year sales and residential leasing experience.

Skills and Requirements

• Customer service, interpersonal skills, experience with Yardi Voyager or similar, Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to handle confidential information, work independently, prioritize, and communicate effectively.
• Valid driver’s license, clean record, auto insurance, and safety compliance.
• Complete Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity, and Inclusion Training within 30 days.
