Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to drive occupancy and satisfaction at our community. You will greet and qualify prospects, prepare move-in packs, and manage leases with accuracy in Yardi and related systems.

Responsibilities include processing applications, deposits, and renewals, while maintaining professional interactions with residents and team members. A strong service mindset and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain before interacting with residents.
• Ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with PC, keyboard, MS Office and community software.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Two years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering criteria.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits on reports and file guest cards.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; relay service needs to Community Manager.
• Complete applications and process deposits per procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Update availability and process applications for approval (credit check, history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals and send renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and gather market info.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and forward to the Assistant Community Manager.
• Input lease data into Yardi; review with Community Manager before signatures.
• Assist management with other tasks as needed.
• Consistently implement community policies.
