Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for Doncaster Village in Parkville, MD. You will help operate a 616-unit multifamily community, assisting in leasing, administration, and outreach marketing.

You will lead a team of 3 Leasing Specialists, monitor occupancy and revenue, and address resident issues to ensure satisfaction. This hands-on role includes training, budgeting support, and coordinating with the Community Manager.

Qualifications

• ACM or supervisory exp preferred, minimum of 3 years’ property management exp required.
• Ability to coach and develop Team Members to uphold strong operational standards.
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding performance benchmarks and KPI’s.
• Organizational skills, strong follow up, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Demonstrated ability to independently handle resident issues.
• Available to assist with Saturday office coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining revenue, expenses, occupancy per budget and projections.
• Manage renewals for resident retention goals.
• Monitor rent growth and turnover to support profitability adjustments.
• Prepare monthly market analysis with leasing staff and set occupancy/revenue goals.
• Report weekly traffic trends to inform pricing decisions.
• Inform Community Manager of housing violations or potential liability issues.
• Coach and develop a team of 3 Leasing Specialists.
• Address and resolve resident issues or escalate as appropriate.
