About the Leasing Associate Role:

The Leasing Associate will ensure effective property maintenance, market the property, screen prospective tenants, and maintain positive relations with tenants. Responsibilities include overseeing new tenant orientation, assisting with office management and clerical tasks, and portraying a positive image of the company.

• Present properties and amenities positively to prospective tenants
• Handle incoming calls and inquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Provide leasing information, schedule appointments, and follow up on maintenance requests
• Process rental applications
• Advertise available properties using various media and promotional materials
• Support resident retention efforts
• Assist the Property Manager/Assistant Manager
• Maintain excellent customer service in line with the Atlantic Housing Foundation Way
• Enter data into property management software
• Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Knowledge of Yardi and Microsoft Office (preferred)
• Previous leasing experience (preferred)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus
