About the Leasing Associate Role:

The Leasing Associate will ensure effective property maintenance, market the property, and screen prospective tenants. Responsibilities include maintaining positive relations with tenants, contributing to a welcoming office environment, and portraying a positive image of the company. You will oversee tenant orientation and assist with office management and clerical tasks.

• Present properties and amenities positively to prospective tenants
• Handle incoming calls and inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing leasing information, scheduling appointments, and following up on maintenance requests
• Process rental applications
• Advertise available properties using various media and promotional materials
• Support resident retention efforts
• Assist the Property Manager/Assistant Manager as needed
• Provide consistent customer service according to the Atlantic Housing Foundation Way
• Enter information into property management software
• Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Knowledge of Yardi and Microsoft Office preferred
• Previous leasing experience preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus
