Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Leasing Associate for our FLATZ 432 community in Midland, TX. You will drive occupancy through friendly, professional interactions, conduct tours, and promote community amenities while guiding applicants through the leasing process.

The role requires 1–3 years in leasing/sales, bilingual English/Spanish, and strong CRM software skills. Flexible schedule with weekends/evenings support, onsite at the Midland property.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents and conduct property tours.

• Assist with renewals, move-ins/out, and records in CRM.

This role supports the full leasing cycle, from initial inquiry through move-in, ensuring every interaction reflects exceptional customer service and professionalism. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-facing, fast-paced environment and takes pride in helping residents find a place to call home.Shift: Flexible schedule, including weekends and some eveningsWhat You'll DoGreets and qualifies prospective residents while coordinating and conducting property tours.Promotes apartment home features, community amenities, and lifestyle benefits to drive leasing activity.Responds promptly to leasing inquiries through phone, email, and online platforms to maximize lead conversion.Processes rental applications, conducts background screenings, and prepares lease documentation in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing guidelines.Facilitates lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs to ensure a seamless resident experience.Maintains accurate prospect and resident records using CRM and leasing management systems.Supports resident retention initiatives and executes lease renewal campaigns to improve occupancy.Participates in marketing efforts, outreach events, and lead-generation activities to increase community visibility.Ensures model units and common areas remain clean, organized, and tour-ready at all times.Assists with planning and coordinating resident events, promotions, and community engagement activities.Promotes and upholds workplace safety in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Who You Are1-3 years of experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or residential property management.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.Proficient in CRM platforms, leasing software, and other digital business tools.Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with the ability to build relationships and close leases.Professional, goal-oriented, and highly motivated in a customer-focused environment.Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations preferred.Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and occasional evenings.Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organization in a fast-paced setting.Physical AbilitiesPerforms essential job functions, including conducting property tours, inspecting apartment homes and community areas, and interacting with prospective and current residents.Walks throughout the property regularly, including navigating stairs and outdoor areas in varying weather conditions.Operates computers, phones, and standard office equipment for extended periods.Reviews documents and evaluates units and common areas for cleanliness, safety, and readiness.Stands or remains stationary for extended periods while assisting residents and prospects.Lifts, carries, or moves leasing materials, office supplies, packages, or event equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.Follows established safety protocols and procedures at all times.Performs duties with or without reasonable accommodation as required by applicable law.What You'll GetZekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental benefits.
