Our national multi-family management company seeks a Leasing Associate with a "Whatever it Takes" attitude to be responsible for marketing, leasing, and maintaining positive resident relations.

Job Summary

The Leasing Associate is responsible for professionally achieving high occupancy and resident retention goals by creating positive relationships with prospects, current residents, clients, and vendors.

Essential Functions

  • Perform all sales and leasing activities (greet and qualify prospects, tour property and amenities).
  • Ensure the property and show units meet the Company’s standards for marketing/leasing tours. Communicate upkeep needs with Property Manager and Maintenance Team.
  • Record all traffic according to Company policy.
  • Complete applications, leases, move-in, renewal, and move-out processes according to Company policy.
  • Use on-site property software to track apartment availability.
  • Stay informed of market trends and competitor conditions; prepare market surveys.
  • Design marketing plans and activities to drive traffic.
  • Conduct outreach marketing and record efforts.
  • Proficiency in internet marketing (Craigslist, Google, etc.).
  • Distribute newsletters, flyers, and notices.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year experience in apartment leasing or sales.
  • Excellent communication and sales skills.
  • Mathematical skills for calculating rents and deposits.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.

Preferred: National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) certification and Fair Housing training.
