The Leasing Professional is the front line of the business. You are not a greeter. You are not a tour guide. You are a closer. Leasing is sales—executed with professionalism, urgency, and accountability. You control first impressions, influence occupancy, and directly impact revenue. What You’ll Do
- Lease with Purpose: Respond to all inquiries—phone, email, and in-person—with speed and professionalism.
- Conduct confident, structured property tours that highlight value—not just features.
- Guide prospects through applications, documentation, and lease execution.
- Overcome objections and close decisively.
- Maintain mastery of pricing, availability, floor plans, amenities, and incentives.
- Deliver a High-Standard Resident Experience: Create a welcoming, professional environment for current and future residents.
- Address resident concerns with urgency and ownership.
- Partner with maintenance and management to ensure follow-through.
- Support retention by reinforcing value and community standards.
- Support Marketing & Outreach: Assist in executing on-site and off-site marketing initiatives; participate in outreach efforts to drive traffic and brand awareness; ensure online listings, ILS platforms, and social channels are accurate and current; represent the property professionally at all times.
- Own the Administrative Details: Maintain clean, accurate records of prospect interactions and leases; process applications and follow up consistently—no leads left behind; conduct market surveys and monitor competition to stay competitive; use CRM and property management systems with discipline; operate as a team.
- Collaborate with property management to achieve occupancy and revenue goals; participate actively in team meetings and performance discussions; assist with resident events that strengthen community and retention.

Experience & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Prior experience in leasing, sales, or customer service strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (I Love Leasing).
- Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Willingness to work weekends and maintain a flexible schedule.
