Job summary

Banyan Living, LLC is seeking an Experienced Leasing Agent to join our team in Ohio. You will leverage your leasing expertise to market communities, conduct tours, qualify prospective residents, and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will collaborate with management on marketing strategies, prepare lease documents, and mentor junior staff. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required, with focus on occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leasing experience in residential property management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of leasing processes, property management systems, and Fair Housing regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead property tours and presentations with professionalism and detailed knowledge of each community.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and qualify residents in compliance with Fair Housing laws.
• Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and residents to foster retention and referrals.
• Collaborate with management to implement marketing strategies to increase leasing performance and occupancy.
• Prepare accurate lease agreements and ensure all documentation complies with policies and legal requirements.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior leasing staff as needed.
