Job summary

Trail Heights I leasing role with Volunteers of America National Services in Anchorage, AK is a full-time position. It offers 8:00am–5:00pm hours, with a pay rate of $21.25–$24.00 per hour based on experience.

The Leasing Agent will advertise and outreach for the property, meet applicants, show apartments, process rental and renewal paperwork, and maintain a positive relationship with residents and the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of leasing experience.
• Must possess a positive attitude, high level of flexibility, effective communicator, and detail oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (some travel).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Pass background screening (drug, employment history and criminal).

Responsibilities

• Process rental applications, certifications, rent calculations and leasing documents per regulations and Fair Housing Laws.
• Provide general office support for Administrative Services Staff.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Promote unoccupied units through various media and advertising techniques.
• Show apartments to prospective clients.
• Validate application information and references.
• Represent the company in a positive, professional manner to callers, guests and staff.
• Update and maintain waitlist.
