Job summary

Guardian Real Estate Services is seeking a full-time Leasing Agent for Stillwater Crossing in Bend, OR. You will manage day-to-day leasing activities, greet prospects, and maintain positive resident relations while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and landlord-tenant laws.

You will coordinate unit readiness, process applications, and collaborate with the Community Manager and maintenance staff to keep vacancies filled and properties well maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, marketing or a related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong technology, internet and general computer use skills; willing to learn new programs.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to complete company training requirements within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner.
• Support Community Manager to meet property management obligations.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws (Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant Laws, OSHA).
• Greet and tour prospects; answer questions about the property per Fair Housing laws.
• Record calls and visits; file guest cards per procedures.
• Explain features/benefits of units; match with potential residents.
• Inspect model and market-ready units; coordinate repairs with Community Manager.
• Keep model unit ready for showings; coordinate repair requests.
• Regularly inspect property and vacant apartments.
• Understand rent charges and lease issues; address tenant concerns.
• Complete applications and collect deposits per procedures; ensure Fair Housing compliance.
• Update availability report; process applications; follow up on status.
• Negotiate move-in dates; ensure unit is ready; obtain signatures; orient new residents.
• Monitor renewals; send renewal notices per guidelines.
• Handle leasing duties including reviewing tenant billings, lease clauses, vacancy reports, and deposits.
• Maintain resident relations and respond to questions; act calmly in emergencies.
• Follow confidentiality guidelines for resident, property, owner, and Guardian data.
