Barge Properties Management is seeking a Leasing Agent/Assistant Manager in Bedford, TX to drive marketing of available rentals, conduct tours, and manage lease agreements. You will be the primary contact for prospective tenants and coordinate with the property team to keep occupancy high.

Applicants should be familiar with real estate leasing laws, have experience with Yardi or AppFolio, and be able to communicate clearly. Weekend and evening availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and present rental units to prospective tenants, highlighting key features and benefits.
• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits, providing accurate information about availability and leasing terms.
• Assist applicants in completing rental applications, verifying references, and processing lease agreements in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, rental rates, and competitor offerings to effectively position properties.
• Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure units are ready for occupancy and address tenant concerns as needed.
• Track leasing activity and prepare regular reports on occupancy rates, tenant feedback, and leasing progress.
• Promote community events and amenities to enhance tenant engagement and satisfaction.
• Must have reliable transportation and be available to work weekends and evenings as need.
