Job summary

Blue Property Management in West New York, NJ is seeking a Leasing Representative to be the first contact for prospective residents, drive leases, and support daily leasing operations.

You will conduct tours, respond to inquiries, guide applicants through applications and lease execution, prepare leases, and maintain leasing records. A strong focus on customer service and local market knowledge is required, with weekend Saturdays also needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of leasing or sales experience, preferably in multifamily residential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with property management software; experience with Yardi preferred
• Knowledge of fair housing regulations and residential leasing practices
• Must be available to work weekend Saturdays
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Prepare lease agreements and maintain accurate, organized leasing records in compliance with company policy
• Build relationships with current and prospective residents, fostering a welcoming and professional leasing office environment
• Coordinate with maintenance on resident requests and communicate repair status and lease renewal information
• Receive and record deposits and rent payments accurately
• Complete weekly and monthly traffic and sales reports as directed
• Stay current on local market trends and competitor activity to inform leasing strategy

Compensation and benefits

Pay range: $$65,000 - $75,000 plus commission and a full benefits package.
