LEASING AGENT POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Leasing Agent plays a critical role in theleasing process for our rental properties. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, acustomer-centric mindset, and the ability to effectively market and lease available units whileproviding exceptional service to prospective tenants.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tenant Relations:

Welcome and greet prospective tenants, providing a positive and professional firstimpression.Assist prospective tenants throughout the leasing process, answering questions, andaddressing concerns.
Build rapport with tenants and maintain positive tenant relationships.Property Tours:Conduct property tours, showcasing available units, amenities, and communal areas.Highlight the features and benefits of each unit and the community to prospective tenants.

Tenant Screening:

Assist prospective tenants with the application process, ensuring all required documentation iscomplete and accurate.Conduct tenant screenings, including background checks and credit checks, in compliance withcompany policies and fair housing regulations.

Lease Negotiation:

Assist in lease negotiations and ensure that lease agreements are thoroughly reviewed andunderstood by tenants.Explain lease terms, rent payment procedures, and any additional fees.

Marketing and Promotion:

Collaborate with marketing teams to promote available units through various channels, includingonline listings, social media, and marketing materials.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property features, pricing, and availability.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenancerequests promptly and professionally.Maintain a responsive and helpful attitude toward tenants.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, tenant information, and lease agreements.Prepare and submit leasing reports and updates as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

2+ years of experience in leasing, property management, real estate, or related field.High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business administration, RealEstate, or a related field preferred.Experience with property management software is preferred but not required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use
hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or
hear.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This is an office position that may require travel as needed to support site teams and attend companymeetings. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

BENEFITS:

Associates who are regularly scheduled for and work 30 hours or more per week are eligible for ncompany-sponsored benefits on the 1st day of the month, following completion of 30 continuous days ofemployment. Regular, full-time associates are eligible to accrue paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.
