Job summary

Allegiant-Carter Management, a Carter Funds Company, seeks a full-time Leasing Agent for The Gables in Ridgeland, MS. You will be the face of the community, leasing apartments, providing excellent customer service, and coordinating applications including credit and income verifications.

Responsibilities include showing units, processing lease packets, ensuring move-in readiness, and following up for renewals; a high school diploma and prior leasing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous property management leasing experience highly desired.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Be the face of your community! Leasing Professionals are the first impression to all prospective and current residents in the community. The ideal candidate for this role seeks opportunities to provide excellent customer service and takes the initiative while remaining flexible to meet the community's day-to-day needs.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent service to all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community.
• Effectively lease apartment in accordance with budget guidelines.
• Follow Fair Housing Standards in all dealings with prospects and residents
• Coordinating the application review for each lease including credit and income verifications.
• Completing lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums and other proper documentation.
• Ensuring the condition of leased apartments prior to move-in, including a final inspection and walk through with resident.
• Following up with residents throughout their lease terms and coordinating the renewal process for each lease.

Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Previous property management leasing experience (Highly Desired)
• Previous customer service experience (Preferred)
• Ability to maintain both a professional appearance and manner

Physical Requirements

• This position is primarily in an office environment, but applicant must be able to walk the property, including climbing stairs
• May work around cleaning solvents, paint fumes and landscaping chemicals
