Job summary

The Liberty Group is hiring an experienced Apartment Leasing Consultant in Jacksonville, NC. You will greet and tour prospective residents, highlighting the community's value and living experience to drive signed leases.

Responsibilities include securing leases, guiding applicants through screening, and maintaining an active leasing pipeline. Weekend availability is a plus to meet peak touring hours and ensure strong occupancy.

Qualifications

• 6+ months apartment / multi-family leasing experience
• Familiar with Fair Housing and leasing best practices
• Valid government-issued ID
• Comfortable with phones, email, and customer-facing sales conversations
• Available to work weekends / peak touring hours

Job description

The Liberty Group is immediately hiring experienced Apartment Leasing Consultants to turn strong tours into signed leases.

Pay ranges from $16 to $17 per hour, depending on experience.

6+ months apartment / multi-family leasing experience

• Familiar with Fair Housing and leasing best practices
• Valid government-issued ID
• Comfortable with phones, email, and customer-facing sales conversations
• (If required) Available to work weekends / peak touring hours

What you’ll do

• Greet and tour prospective residents; follow up to drive move-ins

Preferred (not required)

• Property management software experience (Yardi, RealPage/OneSite, MRI, AppFolio, etc.)
• Luxury, lease-up, rehab, or tax credit (LIHTC) experience
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a strong plus
