Job summary

The Liberty Group is actively seeking experienced Apartment Leasing Consultants in Madison, WI to turn strong tours into signed leases. Pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience.

Greet and tour prospective residents, highlight the community, and guide applicants through the application process. Weekend/peak hours availability may be required to meet leasing demand.

Qualifications

• 6+ months apartment leasing experience.
• Familiar with Fair Housing and leasing best practices.
• Valid government-issued ID.

Responsibilities

• Greet and tour prospective residents; follow up to drive move-ins.
• Communicate the value and living experience of the community.
• Secure lease agreements and assist with application/screening steps.
• Track leads, manage leasing pipeline, and maintain strong prospect communication.
• Support renewals by communicating lease expirations and coordinating renewal process.
• Assist with marketing efforts and resident events as needed.

Job description

The Liberty Group is immediately hiring experienced Apartment Leasing Consultants to turn strong tours into signed leases.

Pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, depending on experience.

6+ months apartment / multi-family leasing experience

• Familiar with Fair Housing and leasing best practices
• Valid government-issued ID
• Comfortable with phones, email, and customer-facing sales conversations
• (If required) Available to work weekends / peak touring hours

What you’ll do

• Greet and tour prospective residents; follow up to drive move-ins
• Communicate the value and living experience of the community
• Secure lease agreements and assist with application/screening steps
• Track leads, manage leasing pipeline, and maintain strong prospect communication
• Support renewals by communicating lease expirations and coordinating renewal process
• Assist with marketing efforts and resident events as needed

Preferred (not required)

• Property management software experience (Yardi, RealPage/OneSite, MRI, AppFolio, etc.)
• Luxury, lease-up, rehab, or tax credit (LIHTC) experience
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a strong plus
