Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six months of customer service experience; two years of leasing experience is a plus.
• Valid state driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel locally to onsite communities and offices.

Responsibilities

• Advertises available units and conducts property tours as part of marketing activities.
• Greet prospects by presenting features and benefits of the community.
• Secure lease agreements from qualified prospects.
• Inspects property and informs maintenance staff of issues.
• Screen prospects to meet eligibility requirements.
• Complete lease applications and assist with verification.
• Engage residents, address complaints, and provide information.
• Process move-ins and move-outs per procedures.
• Conduct unit inspections to maintain quality.
• Assist Property Manager with renewals and communications with residents.
• Organize community events and activities.

Job Summary:

The Leasing Agent will facilitate and conduct property tours and show apartments to prospects, lease apartments to qualified applicants, renew leases with current residents, and perform managerial duties concerning the property as directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School or GED
• Experience: Must have six months of customer service experience. Minimum two (2) years of leasing experience a plus.
• License/Certification(s): Valid state driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• English/Spanish fluency
• Effective interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
• Strong computer technology skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel locally to onsite communities, the corporate office, affiliated organizations, and local municipalities
