Job summary

Banyan Living, LLC is seeking an Experienced Leasing Agent to join our team and drive occupancy and resident satisfaction through expert residential leasing knowledge.

You will lead property tours, process applications, and ensure all leases comply with legal requirements, while building strong relationships with prospects and residents. This hourly role may require evenings and weekends to meet leasing goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leasing experience in residential property management or related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of leasing processes, property management systems, and Fair Housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead property tours and presentations with professionalism and detailed knowledge of each community.
• Process applications, perform thorough credit and background checks, and qualify prospective residents in compliance with Fair Housing laws.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and residents to foster community retention and referrals.
• Collaborate with management to implement marketing strategies aimed at increasing leasing performance and occupancy rates.
• Prepare accurate lease agreements and ensure all documentation complies with company policies and legal requirements.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior leasing staff as needed.

In this position, you will leverage your prior leasing experience to effectively market our properties, negotiate lease terms, and deliver exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize previous leasing experience to process applications, perform thorough credit and background checks, and qualify prospective residents in compliance with Fair Housing laws
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and residents to foster community retention and referrals

Requirements

Candidates should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to build strong client relationships, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. Prior experience mentoring or leading junior team members is a plus
