Overview
Independent Contractor - flexible hours per week. Wage: Commission Only, per lease converted. Work Hours: flexible work-week, including weekends.
Qualifications
- Energetic, dynamic, skilled & knowledgeable leasing agent with superior customer service skills
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience for a growing Property Management company
- Experience leasing single family homes and multi-family properties
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and oral communication
- Safety conscious with high energy, self-motivated attitude
- Ability to work with/without direct supervision, strong organizational and time-management skills
- Quick and effective decision maker, problem solver
- Proficient with social media functionality including Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn
Major duties and responsibilities
- LEASING: Respond to telephone and web inquiries to generate prospective resident visits; show rental units, use sales skills to demonstrate market-ready product and availability to close prospects; follow-up with prospective residents; provide feedback to Property Manager on vacant units for quality presentation; monitor online scheduling software daily to answer questions and respond to alerts
- ADVERTISING: Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends; contribute ideas to the property manager for marketing and resident satisfaction; contribute to advertising initiatives for leasing units
- OPERATIONS: Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and all other Federal, State and Local laws; orient new residents to company processes (e.g., application link)
Organizational relationship
Reports directly to the Managing Broker.
Other requirements
- Physical requirements: Must be able to perform the physical functions of the position, including driving to and walking properties, including up to 4 flights of stairs, delivering marketing/resident communications, and showing/ leasing homes; able to communicate effectively with prospects, residents, staff, supervisors, vendors, etc.
- Experience: Must have at least 2 years of sales experience or related experience; knowledge of the greater Atlanta area preferred.
- Real estate licensing: If unlicensed, completion of the Fair Housing online course prior to showing.
- Driving/traveling requirements: Must have reliable transportation to perform tasks and show properties; must have proof of liability insurance; frequent need (100%) to utilize personal transportation to show properties; valid driver's license and required insurance
Compensation
Leased Unit: 25-35% of One Month's Rent + gas allowance
