Job summary

ABC Management is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant in Akron, OH. The role focuses on welcoming prospects, guiding them through the move-in process, conducting property tours, and following up via calls and emails to convert leads into residents.

You will handle leasing tasks, phone inquiries, and resident/vendor relations, with an emphasis on accurate lease understanding, Fair Housing compliance, and productive communication with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of leasing experience or equivalent, in property management or real estate.
• A 2-year degree in business, sales, marketing, or real estate with two+ years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret lease agreements, safety rules, and related documents.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
• Effective communication with all levels of staff and customers.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations and ability to enforce them.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Must pass a criminal and/or credit background check.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments, answer phones, file, manage resident relations, and handle vendor relations.
• Maintain a closing ratio of at least 50%.
• May work occasional Saturdays.
