Van Metre Companies, Inc. is seeking a Lease-Up Property Manager for Sablemill Apartments in Charlotte, NC. The role leads pre‑leasing, leasing, and stabilization efforts for a new 281‑unit Class A community, building an on‑site team and achieving occupancy and financial targets.

You will manage vendor contracts, budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration with Asset Management, Marketing, Construction, and Ownership to open and operate the property successfully.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in multifamily lease-ups.
• Experience with Class A properties and pre-leasing.
• Ability to lead a ground-up operation.

Responsibilities

• Open leasing office and establish operating systems.
• Lead pre-leasing, screenings, and lease execution.
• Build and develop on-site team.
• Monitor budgets, revenue, and occupancy.
• Coordinate with ownership and partners to open and operate.
