Job summary

LR Management Services in Michigan is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join a fast-growing property management team. The ideal candidate brings sales experience, excellent people skills, and a proactive attitude to help renters find their new home.

You will present apartments, handle leases, maintain records, and coordinate with maintenance. A focus on customer service and multitasking in a busy environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or HS diploma with leasing/coordinator experience
• Minimum two years’ experience in leasing, hospitality, or administrative work
• Experience with Yardi and CRM
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to multitask during busy periods

Responsibilities

• Present apartments and amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants
• Build rapport with tenants and provide personalized service
• Prepare and execute lease agreements and addendums per property standards
• Maintain apartment availability and unit status records
• Monitor community facilities and common areas
• Coordinate with Maintenance to keep the property well-maintained
• Answer phones professionally and handle office/clerical tasks
• Follow up on service requests as needed
• Accept rent payments, security deposits, and other fees
• Maintain and securely store documentation
• Inspect properties at occupancy and vacancy
• Liaise with tenants to address questions and concerns
