Job summary

Rogue Industrial Group (RIG) is seeking a Lease Operator for the Delaware Basin in New Mexico. This role requires a motivated individual to maintain and troubleshoot pumping units and ESPs with minimal supervision. The operator will independently manage assigned routes and perform daily checks on production data.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of leasing operating experience and a strong understanding of production equipment. A company truck, gas card, and benefits will be provided for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Lease Operating experience required.
• Strong understanding of pumping units and ESPs.
• Comfortable with computer documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment including pumping units and ESPs.
• Perform daily route checks to monitor and record production data.

Title: Lease Operator

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00/HR

Includes: Company-provided truck, gas card, and benefits

Hierarchy Breakdown

Reports to: Directly to the Foreman for the area

Works Directly Alongside: All working personnel in his or her field.

Top Focus of this Position

This person will work with minimal supervision to maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, including pumping units and ESPs, while efficiently managing assigned routes.

Lease Operator will have Knowledge and Ability to Perform the Following

• Operate and maintain pumping units and ESPs
• Perform daily route checks to monitor and record production data
• Ensure well performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Conduct basic maintenance on equipment as needed
• Respond promptly to call‑outs within assigned coverage area
• Production software for monitoring and reporting
• Accurately document production data and required reports

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Lease Operating experience (required due to minimal supervision)
• Strong understanding of pumping units and ESPs
• Ability to run and maintain assigned routes independently
• Comfortable with computer documentation
• Must be able to drive up to 300 miles per day
• Must pass background check, driving record check, and DOT drug screening
