Job summary

Driven Brands, Inc. seeks a Manager of Lease Accounting to lead the lease portfolio with a focus on accuracy and SOX compliance. You will oversee operating and finance lease accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation.

The role requires collaboration with Real Estate, Legal, Operations, FP&A, and other stakeholders, plus leadership of remediation efforts and a lease system transition. A Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance plus relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and collaborate across functions.
• Experience with SOX controls and audit readiness is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operating and finance lease accounting under ASC 842, including modifications and remeasurements.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead close processes and ensure timely, complete reconciliations and controls evidence.
• Support remediation of material weaknesses and assist with SOX control testing.
• Coordinate lease system transition activities, data validation, and documentation.
