Provide individual learning therapy to children with mild, moderate, and severe reading difficulties. Develop tailored instruction plans and meet with children regularly.
Conduct small group therapy sessions if applicable, with appropriate planning and scheduled meetings.
Consult with the Director and/or Manager to make recommendations, meeting at least once a month to discuss program development.
Provide consistent feedback to parents regarding their child's progress.
Write progress summary reports every six months.
Administer assessments periodically using basic educational tools.
Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience.
Bachelor's degree required. Certification as a Special Education Teacher or a Master's in Reading.
Special Education (Teacher of the Handicapped) Certification required.
Masters of Reading certification and Wilson Reading Program Level 1 Certification are preferred.
