Under the general direction of the Associate Dean of Pre-Clinical Affairs, the Learning Systems Specialist provides support for the technical health and daily operations of learning platforms. This role ensures a seamless digital experience for students across multiple systems and serves as the support contact for all college faculty and administrative staff.
This position works closely with the college’s Outcomes Assessment team to ensure alignment between Pre-Clinical and Clinical curriculum outcomes and with the Assistant Dean of Clinical Education to meet clinical curriculum requirements.
Individuals must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities or demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Instructional Design, or Educational Technology.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years related experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., eMedley, Elentra, Canvas, Blackboard, or Brightspace).
Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in specific platforms (e.g., Canvas Certified Admin, Google Educator, or CompTIA Project+).
