Job summary

New Story Schools in Pennsylvania is seeking a Special Education Teacher to design and deliver individualized instruction for students aged 5–21 with autism and related challenges. You will create a structured classroom that supports academic growth as well as social-emotional development.

The role requires a PA teaching certification in Special Education, a bachelor's degree, and experience with students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification
• Minimum three months of experience working with students with disabilities
• Knowledge of child development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and lesson plans that meet each student’s needs
• Deliver engaging instruction using varied teaching methods
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment
